…ok but what is it about?

Socrates once said, “The unexamined life is not worth living” which is something we believe in.

Full Backlog the site, newsletter, podcast, etc. is about three core themes:

• Vocation

• Art

• Legacy

That said, the Full Backlog podcast is more focused on Vocation, and the idea that people fundamentally want to hear about what other people are working on, and how they got to be working on that thing. Or things.

Having many fishing lines in the water is a an undercurrent around here. Let’s indulge that curiosity!

What is the format of the podcast?

For the Q3/Q4 2024 “season”, the recording opens with a brief introduction from the host (Chris Busse), and then asks the guest to introduce themselves, and what is in their “backlog” currently.

We then work back to how the guest got started in their current vocation, and then work our way back forward to their backlog, looking at it again in light of their history.

We use the term “backlog” loosely in the classic sense; we don’t explicitly intend to link it to any specific methodology such as Agile/Scrum.
